Welcome to the website of
NIJI NO KAI
International Communications Club
Otherwise known as the Rainbow Club, directly translated from our Japanese club name. Our club, Nijinokai, is an international communicationc club, established 40 years ago, and is officially authorized by Waseda University.
There are about 150 members in the club, ranging from freshmen to seniors, all from different departments or even different universities. The Japanese members are interested in cultural exchange, studying abroad, learning new languages, but most of all, having a good time. Our main event throughout the year is to get the foreign students coming to study at Waseda settled into the school and introduce them to the new life that is the Japanese university campus life, Waseda style.
We organize multiple events throughout the year. It has been our tradition to hold the following events: flower viewing party, spring camp, sport festivals (soccer, futsal), cooking festival, summer camp, mt. fuji climbing, picnics, food stand in school festival, christmas parties, new year's party, ski and snowboarding camps, and parties for the members' birthdays.
Waseda is a giant school, and it can be difficult to socialise with people outside your friend circle. But not anymore, since you've found our club. :) Come drop by our lounge (map below) where we always hang out, or just show up at one of our events. There are no fees to "join" the club. You are welcome at any events you are interested in. If you are unsure, you can email us beforehand and we'll be sure to find you. Or if you have any questions, let us know!

says NIJINOKAI
We look forward to seeing you!
